Lamb to the Slaughter and Way up to the Heaven

I think that the similarities between Lamb to the Slaughter, Mary Maloney was a very caring and loving wife at the beginning but she totally transformed in to another person. She became a cunning woman with a astute, sharp and clever mind when her husband told her that he wanted to leave her. With this, she killed her husband and tries to cover up her crime. Her action were a sign of lying and deception. She lied to the investigators. She acted that she was the innocent one and tries to destroy the evidence at the same time. Deception was expressed in a way that she makes the readers think that she was a very loving and caring wife whom was very submissive to her husband. She turned out in the end to the total opposite which made the readers realized that they were deceived of Mary's personalities. In Way up to the Heaven, Mrs Foster acted that she did not know about the morbid fate of her husband was very much akin to the "innocence" of Mary Maloney. She was very submissive to her husband and her husband was very demanding of her. Her husband knew that she did not like to be late and wanted to delay her for her flight to see her daughter. It eventually turned out that he was stuck in the lift of hs house. Mrs Foster knowing that her husband was stuck in the lift left the house for her flight. She knew that he would die of suffocation as she was going for a long trip. Her actions were examples of deception. In lamb to the slaughter, Patrick was not a very demanding husband. He did not demand anything from Mary instead, Mary was the one who kept doing things for Patrick. In way up to the Heaven, Mr Foster was a very demanding husband. He kept asking things from his wife and making things difficult for her like trying to preventing her from catching her flight. This are the differences and similarities that I was able to point out. Please give me some comments. Thanks .
